Real estate law concerns a variety of issues arising from the buying, selling and leasing of real estate including homes, farms and commercial buildings. Issues may arise before and during such a transaction including the drafting and preparation of the documents needed. Litigation may arise after a transaction involving such questions as whether good title was conveyed, or whether there were defects in the property. Even if a sale or lease is not involved, there may be questions of whether a proposed or existing use of property meets zoning requirement. There may also be litigation between two landowners concerning issues such as a boundary dispute or over activity taking place on the property causing harm to another.
